Greater Noida's Integrated Industrial Township to Implement E-Surveillance for Enhanced Security and Smart Governance

Greater Noida's Integrated Industrial Township is set to bolster its security and operational efficiency by integrating electronic surveillance and smart governance systems. This initiative aims to provide enhanced safety, streamline urban services, and foster a technology-driven environment for residents and businesses.

Key Features of the E-Surveillance Initiative

  • High-Definition Surveillance: Approximately 140 high-definition CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras will be installed across the township to monitor key areas, ensuring public safety and aiding in traffic management.

  • Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC): A state-of-the-art ICCC will be established to oversee various services, including power, water, waste management, traffic, and security. This centralized system will enable real-time monitoring and efficient coordination of essential services.

  • Smart Urban Infrastructure: The township will feature smart systems for managing electricity, water supply, streetlights, and waste collection. Additionally, environmental sensors will monitor air quality, temperature, humidity, and rainfall, contributing to sustainable urban living.

  • Digital Governance Platform: All citizen services will be digitized through specialized software modules, offering features like GIS maps, automated billing, and live dashboards. This digital approach aims to enhance transparency and accessibility for residents.

Project Implementation and Future Outlook

The Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (DMIC IITGNL) has allocated approximately ₹40 crore for the development of the ICCC. A tender has been issued to appoint a Master System Integrator (MSI) for the project, with proposals to be submitted by May 7. The initiative is expected to create a connected, secure, and investor-friendly industrial city, accommodating around 30,000 residents and generating over 50,000 jobs.

This e-surveillance and smart governance project aligns with Greater Noida's broader efforts to enhance urban living through technology, ensuring a safer and more efficient environment for its residents and businesses.
